What is RYOIKU?

We are often referred to as "treatment, childcare, and education", but we do not perform medical action. We think that it is the treatment that the support of "a polite childcare and the education" is not.

Why? need?

For example, a healthy child can learn by looking at the teacher's instruction and the child around, and acquire various things in the place of the group nursery which sees 20 infants with one child care worker. 
However, the child who needs help is not able to hear the teacher's instruction, cannot understand the instruction, and cannot be conscious of the surrounding child, and the ability to learn in the group is weak.
To be angry, to be teased, or to be angry with myself...
A sense of self-affirmation (a mind that is important to you, an irreplaceable existence) is getting lower and higher.

The RYOIKU is done in small groups of about one to five people, and the staff supports children by a leader and a few sub-staff, "Here!" In the situation that, you can find out what your child is stumbling on, what is behind the problem behavior, and how to help you better.

We think it is important for children who need assistance to be polite, and how to help their child.
Furthermore, we believe that any child can grow up and be free of such support.

What did you do in the past?

In the past, there were many children with personality. However, in the past, there was an environment where children can play a lot outside. 
It gathered with children in the neighborhood, it ran in hills and fields, it brought various things, and it made the secret-base, and the play which used the body every day, such as playing in the river and the seashore, was done until nightfall.


Playing in nature by moving the body promotes the development of the brain. 
It is an important part of the RYOIKU program to make the senses (Five sense=sight, aural, smell, taste, and tactile) work full, and to satisfy the sense that children want in play.

In the old days, it was an environment that was able to be used daily in everyday life, and the child with the characteristic was encouraged the development of the brain, and I think that it had spent almost the same as the child of surroundings.
Moreover, there was a leader child in a group of children of different ages who shared the play, and there was an order in the group. 


Even if we were to play the same game, we were able to experience the difference between age, physical strength and intelligence, and in the group we needed to keep the rules in order to have fun.

Of course, there was an encounter of the opinion, too, and there was fighting of the fight sometimes, because everyone had seen the cause of the trouble and the passage, 
it is possible to confirm the judgment of good and evil, and "Apology" and "Forgive" we think that it was in a daily program.


We think that the word "Gratitude and the mind to Forgive" which has become the idea of the Cosmos association was brought up in the daily experience of the age when it was a child again.

It may not be true for all things, but we think that what we are doing now called "RYOIKU" was done routinely in the lives of children.
We think that the change in the social environment which surrounds the child greatly influences it.

What should we do in the future?

It is the current situation that the idea "the one that the trouble child receives" is strong.
We feel that the word "disability" has become a "obstacle" that does not allow children to receive the support they need to accept, and to be proactive in accepting them.

Even if the diagnosis name is not given, "that? From the stage of awareness, we are working on the environment where the support of the medical treatment, etc. is received according to the need, and parents can feel free to consult, and I think that it should be a society where everyone can raise children.


It's still in the middle of the road, but is it progressing in the direction of the aim? and feel.

In fact, the parent and child who came to visit the referral from the health nurse of the medical institution and the city, it was a very uneasy expression at the beginning, "I want to come again with a smile at the end of the tour! I think that it was really good that I was involved in the work of the RYOIKU so that, I started this program, and the expression seemed to be lively, the preferable action increased, and the word gradually increased.
 

For early detection of children with developmental disabilities should the RYOIKU be done to all children from zero-yearold?

According to RYOIKU = careful childcare, we think that every child has a certain level of care in the zero-yearold.

Why is early detection important?

If? From the stage of awareness, we are able to receive appropriate support and prevent mis-learning and secondary disabilities.
We think it would be more effective to start the rehabilitation early.

What kind of initiatives are you doing in Tasukaru Hayasaki?

"Early detection" is done by the procedure called the development consultation → The medical institution from the visit of the health nurse in the region and the checkup, etc. now.
The role of Tasukaru Hayasaki is to focus on "support" in the next phase of discovery rather than to "discover".

We will determine what kind of support is needed for each child who is introduced to the need for community RYOIKU, establish a suitable group for the child, plan individual support, and conduct small group RYOIKU.
Now, Tasukaru Hayasaki is a small group of young children (3-year-olds), but they have been trained at the Children's Medical welfare center so that they can be treated as early as possible (for 1 to 2-year-olds).

We think that it is a word that familiarity is thin for the general public even if it says the rehabilitation, and I thought about what kind of thing.
Tasukaru Hayasaki considers the concept of "careful childcare and education" to be considered as it is.

The word "Disability" is replaced with "Personality".

※"RYOIKU" meaning is who children with disabilities (doubt disabilities) learn treatment and education to have social skills.
