The fuel refined in Eco-park RONSHOBARU is recycled by the collection car of the burnable waste that goes out of the home(everybody in
Minamishimabara City), and contributes to the loss in weight of the heat-trapping gas of global warming.

Plant fuel (BDF) does not become a global warming effect gas unlike the fossil fuel.

Refinement of biodiesel fuel

The method of making used oil in the diesel fuel is an alkali catalyst method wet type who has gone to some the one that is in the Eco-park RONSHOBARU now, and a method to wash the one that esters were exchanged by water.

 

Reactive separation process

Process of washing in clear water
A methylic ester is washed by the water of 20% in the tank and it stirs it for about 60 minutes by 60 degrees afterwards.

After potassium is separated in this process, it is naturally precipitated.
Potassium is removed by repeating a methylic ester repeating this process of washing in clear water until the water collected under the tank becomes transparent.

 

Dry process
Because water remains in a methylic ester, it heats by 60-70 degrees, and it decompresses it.
The biodiesel fuel can be done by the thing evaporated for two hours - about three hours until moisture is completely lost.
The waste fluid that comes out with the by-product is used as washing the machine and a fertilizer of the farm in Eco-park RONSHOBARU, too.

 

About the quality of the BDF fuel

The fuel that is called a biodiesel is an oil constituent called a botanical fatty acid methylic ester. There are some methods of making the biodiesel fuel.

1.Alkali catalyst (sodium hydroxide, caustic soda, and potassium hydroxide, etc.)


2.Acid catalyst (sulfuric acid and fluorine, etc.)


3.Solid catalyst (metallic oxide, zeolite, and ion exchange resin etc. such as calcium oxides)


4.Living thing catalyst (lipase steatolysis enzyme and yeast bacterium body, etc.)

 

The alkali catalyst method with potassium is done in Eco-park RONSHOBARU.
 

They are made to react to this by the methanol in the one that is called a triglyceride that unites the glycerin with the fatty acid of three
values, and the vegetable oil exchanges esters and separates the glycerin. A fatty acid methylic ester is obtained especially depending.
The molecular weight of the major ingredient decreases to 1/3 of the oils and fats by this processing, the viscosity is lowered even to the
tenth of oils and fats, and it makes it easily to use as a diesel fuel.
Moreover, can it convert to a methylic ester by mixing alcohol and ignitability (cetane number) necessary for the compression ignition oil
engine be improved at the light oil level.

 

Botanical carbon dioxide that is the theme of the global warming now circulates through the plant though "Resin" of most plants and
animalities can be used for the raw material of the biodiesel fuel.
It does and because the thing is a problem, the wasted oil of a botanical tempura is suitable for the raw material in the factor of Global
warming.
In general, the kind of a botanical cooking oil used and the content of oil are 40% in the rapeseed, the soybean is 20%, the palm is 40-50%, the helianthus is 30-40%, and 40-50% is included as for corn.

The price is high though methyl alcohol "Methanol" ethanol made from the natural gas in general can be used for alcohol.

 

It can be said that the biodiesel that uses this because it obtains it by fermenting the sugar such as sugarcane is a true carbon neutral in
the ethanol. The technology that synthesizes the methanol from biogas is developed.
The meaning of "Carbon neutral" rises as well as the ethanol if the methanol that does not depend on the natural gas spreads at a low price. Moreover, the research that moves the gasoline engine mixing the ethanol with gasoline is done, too.
It is a life of the fermentation process though this ethanol is advanced by the manufacturing kind method of the beet sugarcane of using

Difference of engine (difference between gasoline engine and diesel engine)

About the engine

The exhaust of carbon dioxide that causes global warming decreases if BDF is used for the diesel engine.
